PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

We know that many parents/guardians need help in building confidence, knowledge, understanding and practical skills in parenting children with mental health challenges - whether kindergarten-age and right through to young adults in their twenties.  Community mental health services can be difficult to understand and access and  systems can be complex and fragmented.

One of i&i’s key services is helping parents/guardians and caregivers build effective parenting skills that support the unique needs of each family. Our psycho-educational tools integrate important education, knowledge, therapeutic, and skill development to support parents and incorporate the lived experience and mutual peer support of other parents that can relate deeply and empathetically to what you are experiencing.
